And the winner is...Kris Allen. This came as a shock to him as well as others.
He knocked Adam Lambert out of the top spot and became the next American Idol on season 8 of the popular TV reality show.
Kris (I like the way he spells his name.) was in disbelief when he found out he was the winner.
I'm sorry, I don't even know what to feel right now. This is crazy.
Both men did a really good job and are winners no matter what.
I didn't personally watch it this season, but have heard and read some stuff about it. I haven't watched it since Carrie Underwood won. That to me was a very special moment.
