Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton, whom the British press refer to as "the first black driver in Formula One," recently got engaged.
Though the couple, who have been on-again-off-again the past couple years, have not released an official announcement themselves, Nicole's father
Alfonso Valiente said:
“Yes they are engaged. My future son-in-law is a really nice guy, really down to earth. My family all like him. He is sincere and he and my daughter seem genuinely happy together. Lewis is a really good guy.”
The couple, who have dated for four years, will likely maintain dual residences as Nicole is set to judge "The X Factor" in the US.
