The reboot of Wonder Woman is set to appear on the NBC network and it has been announced that the lead role will be played by Adrienne Palicki. David E. Kelley, creator and producer of popular TV series such as Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope, Boston Legal, The Practice and Boston Public, is set to produce the series.

Adrienne Palicki is a an American actress best known for playing Tyra Collette in Friday Night Lights and has also had guest roles in various TV series such as Smallville, CSI, North Shore, Supernatural, South Beach and CSI Miami. Her selection has generally been met with approval as she is thought to have the stature to play the role of the Amazonian princess.

Minka Kelly stars in "The Roommate"

In the upcoming thriller The Roommate, Minka Kelly plays the lead role in a movie for the first time in her career. Minka Kelly, best known for playing Lyla Garrity in Friday Night Lights, is a 30 year old American actress and the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay.

The very youthful Minka Kelly has previously acted in various movies in minor roles, including 500 Days of Summer, State's Evidence and The Pumpkin Karver. She has also made guest appearances in TV series such as Cracking Up, Drake & Josh, What I Like About You and Entourage.
